Windrush Day!

Windrush Day is celebrated each year on 22 June to mark the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush in 1948 and to honour the people who came to Britain to help rebuild the country after the Second World War.

It is a chance to recognise and celebrate the enormous contributions made by the Windrush Generation and their descendants to every aspect of British life, while also reflecting on the challenges and injustices many faced along the way.

Every year we celebrate and educate those who came before us, check out some of our recent work below.
